The good news is that some fabrics may wick away the work to prevent blistering by absorbing and removing moisture from the skin.
- Wool fibers stretch but also have excellent shape recovery. They are colorfast, resist wrinkles, and breathe with your body. Bulkier wool traps the air, keeping your feet warmer and drier; wool absorbs up to ⅓ of its weight in moisture.
- Another element is the consistency of the fiber diameter. The value of this fiber increases with its uniformity.
- The value of wool is greatly influenced by its hue. White or off-white wool may take a more fantastic range of colors to create different garments.
- Their staple strength determines the fibers’ resistance to the manufacturing process. Less waste is generated, and the higher the staple strength.

The length of the natural fibers included inside the yarn and how they are utilized together are more critical factors in durability than the thickness of the thread. Long-staple fibers, or premium wool fibers, are longer than typical. They can thus braid more firmly and constantly as a result.
Long-staple yarns also produce less pilling.
