    Sam Sand Stacks

Sam Sand Stacks offers an indelible experience in the heart of the Thar Desert, where you can stay in luxury accommodation surrounded by the dramatic beauty of the desert.

    Location

The campsite has the feel of an oasis or an old  Qasba villa with several side-by-side canopies.

Later you can enjoy night stargazing, desert safaris, campfires and  camel rides. There are so many different types of wild animals in the desert and you can see them on a desert safari.

    Camel Safari

Jaisalmer has many camel options. There are many famous beach driving places where you can enjoy an exciting camel ride into the desert. However,  you can also organize a Safari in the well-known corridor of the Thar desert, if you want somewhere more isolated.

You can witness the changing shape of the beach stacks, the wild insects and creatures of the desert and also the different hues of the sky as the day progresses. You can choose to stay overnight, enjoy stargazing and  wake up early to confuse the daylight before heading back to the mega city and its most unique effects that you will see in Jaisalmer.

    Visit Jaisalmer Fort

Visit Jaisalmer Fort Every Jaisalmer Diary. It is  one of the few “living castles” in the world, as a significant part of the megacity’s population continues to live in and around it. Its beauty and nobility make it the crown of the Golden City. A visit to the fort is one of the most popular things to do in Jaisalmer and people spend the whole day at this ancient fort which dates back to  1156 AD.

The main entrance to the fort leads callers through four huge gates that lead you through the massive sandstone structure. Outside you will find the Raj Mahal Palace and many Jain tabernacles from the 12th and  16th centuries. The fort also contains an old Hindu tabernacle and the havelis of many smugglers that represent the magnificent old armory of the region.

    Sailing on Gadisar Lake

Sailing on the scenic Gadisar Lake is one of the best things to do in Jaisalmer if you love being on the water! It is an artificial lake located in the heart of the city, making it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the megacity.

There are several Hindu tabernacles and ghats around the lake where you can enjoy the captivating music of the evening Aarti during a boat ride. During the layoff, the boat trips are really more beautiful as you can spot several species of migratory cats on the lake that come from the nearby Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.

    Visit an Abandoned Village, Kuldhara

About 15 kilometers  from Jaisalmer is an abandoned Indian village that tells inspiring and fascinating stories. This destination is known as Kuldhara. The village, which looks more like a city, was previously known for its large population. For travelers who want to imagine the world through its remains, we recommend visiting the abandoned villa Kuldhara.

The roads were wide and well designed then, and the agreement  was planned then. This village was built with aesthetics in mind. Although now abandoned, they used to build large buildings, tabernacles, stairs and other structures.

While traveling through this abandoned village, travelers will hear a legend that explains why the cities abandoned this treaty. According to this legend, the minister of the administrative area was evil and wanted to marry the young son of the village chief. He forced her to marry and gave her a deadline. frightened, the chief summoned the chiefs of  8

brooding villages and it was decided that the entire population of Kuldhara would leave so that the honor of the chief’s son could be protected.

Today this story reflects the fact that the chiefs and Rajput soldiers then held their honor in the highest place. Their respect and reverence was so important that the entire village decided to leave their homes and settle elsewhere so that the young son of the chief could be protected from the evil clutches of the  ruling district minister.

That shows how brave Rajasthanis are. Today, the remains of this villa are attractions that allow travelers to guess and understand what happened centuries ago.

    Pray at Tanot Mata Temple

Which is 122 km from  Jaisalmer Fort. This tabernacle is considered to be the reincarnation of Goddess Hinglaji. There are many stories surrounding this tabernacle during the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965, stories of the tabernacle remaining undamaged after  heavy losses and shelling and being one of the aftermath of Jaisalmer.
