In some other Orbi Wi-Fi routers and satellites, click the Management->Access Control->Password given on the left page. Type here the old Orbi default password and then the new password. Type the new password twice. And to confirm the settings, click the SAVE or Apply option. Orbi firmware update is necessary after the password change. Let’s learn how.
Update your Orbi RBK852 router after the password change
To check for the firmware update, go to the Orbi login web interface. Check the Ethernet cable. Connect it to your router and the computer. And then search for the Orbi firmware updates. If you are available, perform the update process. And your problem will resolve quickly. You should take a backup before performing the update process.
Opt for the reset method when you have nothing to do except reset. Such a situation arises when you forget the username and Orbi default password for the login. Or the router has bricked. Reset also removes viruses, bugs, and other unwanted material from your device. After that, you can perform an Orbi firmware update on your RBK852 router.
